imo crimsonland needs to stay away from vehicles. UNLESS it has a larger area in levels. Trees and other landscape would be cool. Like notrium.

i was thinking y not. an evil dead. only slow yet numerous and durable dead come at you. you only have the typical dead slaying weapons. aka.
-shotgun -sawn off shotgun -fire axe -chain saw -flame thrower -blow torch -dynamite

hmm... A secret sheep mode? You have energizer and you have to herd the aliens into a pen, if you kill too many by say, touching them and eating them or leading them into lava, you lose.

Ltar and henry came up with the idea for sawed off plasma shotgun, which I think would be cool.

hmm... A secret sheep mode? You have energizer and you have to herd the aliens into a pen, if you kill too many by say, touching them and eating them or leading them into lava, you lose. Genius, and it'd be simple to do, too, not that I ahve any idea where one could start. Arena deathmatch would pwn, but it'd be tough to balance, what weapons would be available? how would you adjust the aiming or LOS to prevent "first shot wins" matches? it seems it would take a real dolt to miss an opponant in a top-down mosut-aiming match... but some Line of Sight rules and impassable obstacles (like pillars) might work. It'd be nice the the enemies made more sounds, isntead of the same, annoying gurgle 10,000 times as you fight zombies. More death animations, instead of always falling backwards. have some enemies get launched through the air, have some get sliced in half, have some fall forward or slump to the side, however works. More special weapons values, such as "FB will not spawn when you hold the SO Shotty (haha, SOS)"... there could be bonuses that ONLY appear when you hold a specific weapon or weapon class... Extremely unbalancing bonuses. bonuses that make you want that weapon on the offchance that you might get that bonus at a crucial moment, and clear the screen. More weapon-specific perks, like Pyromaniac. You could have "Rocekt Scientist" to increase the accuracy and explosive yeild of rocket-based weapons, or Afterburner to amp up Flame weapons. Perhaps a Lead Based-only (SMG, assault rifle, mean minigun, Shotty, etc) Barrell greaser add-onn to give all lead-firing weapons a limited guass effect? Quest Rush is an awsome idea. Playing through the game without stopping would be incredible. perhaps you coudl save every ten levels, so after beating 1.10, 2.10, 3.10 etc. MORE Levels. Launch the game with however many or few levels you can make before we all riot, but have add-ons, periodically, to expand the levels through 80, at least. More Difficulty levels. Unlockable Quest Rush is great, but howsabout a super-easy mode, and an OMFG harder-than-harcore mode? greater enemy variety: if there were a few extrmeely fast enemies in an army of slow-moving unded, there would be a lot more skill involved in the game. you'd have to dodge these enemies as you fired at the hordes, rather than just run just out-of-reach and pummel them. I mean, EXTREMELY fast enemies... like those little red guys, only on steroids. balance them by making it tough for them to correct their course once they start a charge, perhaps, so it's possible to doge them if you're watching them......

Lol, yes Yan, I was actually thinking of azk when I thought it up, it would be good as a secret game, that actually UNLOCKS SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!! hmmm.... with the multiplayer deathmatch, first, you would have to be bigger, 2. no shotguns, if so, very rare, 3. co-op play with 8 people would OWN everything 4. No cars until a later update, if so, OPTIONAL. 5. melee weapons. 6. difficulty levels, each ending in a different ending sequence, 1st would be normal, then hardcore, then super hardcore, then a bonus 10 levels that you can only do in super hardcore. and this time around 10 levels each with ten stages, no more of that 5 level stuff. More messed up secret stuff, more modes, more monster types, more everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i should get my friends into this game (not that i haven't tried) so tero will get more $ for blood xD the way a deathmatch system would work, is not too hard.. if anyone has played gunz online, it would be cool to block the bullets with a melee weapon. pressing a direction button twice in a row would do a dodge roll. If anyone has ever thought of a top down cam view game where you kill eachother online, try looking up a game called continuum. Its a ship game, but its still top down view. Just have all the guns, reload times will sort out the guns Although i think rocket weapons should take awhile to reload.. its big ammo we're talking about. But yeah, it could work. I agree with jimmick about the vehicle idea. Riding around and killing things would be fun in a large area. MORE CL! im putting that in my sig.

all you need to do to make dm cool is increase your size a bit and take out a few weapons, that and some new features like new bonuses and weapons. I'm sure there's other stuff but I can't think of it right now

well.. just remember that they can only put so much on one screen, same with bullets, and blood and bodies on the floor i think more unique strong monsters would be better.. sometimes wasting a boss spider with a fire bullet jackhammer almost makes me feel bad. almost. Like i said a in a previous post, a huge monster that takes quite awhile to take out... like a super big boss monster. Some bio-weapon mutation bastardization of a thing XD!! as for the multiplayer, should there be voice connections? i think teamspeak would be nice but.. trying to text someone while you are playing is quite the multitask, and sometimes you might want to talk to them while you're playing. "kill that guy" "cover me!" "LOL"

well, it would be far more usefull to use pure streams of brainwaves to communicate. but i don't think there is sufficient technology . and i don't suppose that sending sound through the net would do any good to gameplay. i'd like to hear the voices of other players, but i fear that playability of game would decrase because of sound based lags etc. i think that text-binding would be more useful, especially when you could "attach" text to the monsters, positions etc, so for example pointing at monster and pressing binded text would cause text to follow the monster and add some "selection mark", with each player having chat color, it would be extra nice, and handy. text should be based on type (saved when binding) like: monster text attached to monster like "kill it", area text (you would have to select rect area) "stay here", point text "your target", player text "protect me" appears over player, and chat type text, for OK's, LOL's etc. would you like the system where message would appear in place where you want it to? i bet you would. let's say that you use "wsad" keys for movement, and have 3 button mouse. mouse buttons for reload, perkpick, and shoot. you propably will use left hand for moving and right for aiming. so, you're most propably to reach with fingers of your left hand capslock, tab, console button, 1,q,2,3,e,4,r,f,c,x,z,and shift. Those keys should be enough to bind all basic communications, and such input method is simple. having binded "e" for monster text "kill it" would cause that closest monster to your mouse pointer would get message on it "kill it" after pressing e key. i hope that i explained my thought enough, if you have any questions about my idea please ask.

that would probably fight the lag way better yanpl. Binding text would be a funny idea. Would be neat if it was like typo-shooter / survival.

well, now imagine typo shooter and monsters with label : kill it quickly!! sure binded texts are easier...

there could be a real-time text adventure thing.. where you type Text-adventure style commands to aim your gun, etc... as a super sentence-form typ-o-shooter.

mix RPG with crimsonland? maybe You are at the nesting grounds of lizards holding a Jackhammer, what do you do? *type* SHED SOME BLOOD *bang bang splat* You gun down the lizards as they tried to charge you with their teeth n' claws. The reloading time sucks but you sure do kill alot! Blood splatters on your shirt, it was a new shirt. Being so upset by this you fire balls of fire out of your head from the sheer anger you possess, and roast several lizards around you. The lizards managed to get close enough to cut ya, but you ignore the pain and keep running because you have the unstoppable perk! (80/100 hp) after running and killing for some time, the remainder of the lizards retreat in fear. Level Complete! Uh oh! 2 Spiderroids! You only have a Submachine gun, you might get swarmed. What do you do? *type* Attack the spiderroid's As you pelt away at the Spiderroid, blood sheds, and the body of the spiderroid's splits into two, four, eight, etc. As you try to escape yourself into an opening, they get close enough to bite the flesh straight off of you, they might be small and weak, but man do they hurt if you get too close. (42/100 HP) You're still alive running backwards and shooting. You're into the open now, and you're gonna again run into a tight space. -=You have enough EXP to pick a perk=- What do you choose? telekenitic ammunation within ammo maniac bonus economist bonus magnet *type* telekenitic You can now pick up bonuses from afar! You end up running into another corner, and they're getting close! any last actions? *type*shoot till the death! Mindlessly shooting away, seems like you have about 10 seconds until you get ripped apart by several spiderroids. a Freeze bonus drops! *type* telekenitic freeze All the spiderroids freeze instantly. *type* run away and shoot. A Rocket Launcher drops! *type* telekenitic Rocket Launcher Obtained Rocket Launcher! *type* Blow them up! The Spiderroids worst mightmare, the Rocket Launcher. Firing rocket after rocket, they quickly split and split some more until they can't split anymore. Scattered and tiny, you pick off the remaining spiderroids. Level Complete! You can see i was very bored.. if we all had D&D dice and stuff like that.. eh, it could happen.
