Chop Shop is brilliant, Particle weapons would be cool, I think it would be neat to have an adrenaline system, rather than reflex bonuses, so you could, say, press space to start into a rush, and hit it again to go back to normal speed. you get adrenaline holistically, but mostly by gaining points quickly, and if you run out, everything goes really fast, or maybe you run slow....
adrenaline management could become as critical as FB, Sheild and freeze economy.

dagger of time? you really got me thinkin of the sands of time here. Hourglass - When activated, time will slow down for one minute, then time will speed up for 30 seconds.

Just got a new idea for a cool weapon.
What about a "distortion gun" ? that would be cool. The Distortion gun could shoot some kind of rays that make monsters go crazy and kill each other or somethin'
Wouldnt that be cool ? .

whenever i think of distortion, it would shoot a grenade, explode in a weird wave effect. The ground would be moved around, monsters would turn inside out and die, some monsters might get really tough, weak, big, small, and different types of monsters.

Another maybe not so bright idea but still an idea.
Magnifier (5k) .
Why not anyway ?
There is a shrinkfier why not have a Magnifier ?
It can magnify monsters untill they explode or somethin' . The opposite of shinkfier.

Napalm would be cool. Burn them for a period of time.

ELECTRO SPHERE OF DEATH
Basically the sphere of death is a one-shot super weapon. When you fire, the electro sphere (a big electrical looking sphere) follows your mouse around (the crosshair turns into a cool looking tracking device) if it touches an enemy- they get electrocuted (damaged) and slowed down (i am considering an ion zap effect) and after a period of time, the sphere explodes and does damage to those in it's blast radius (you can also set it off by clicking fire again)
I'll put a test of my game up with one of these you can play with in a day or to so you can see what I mean.
Oh- and the rocket shotgun. It's cool! And THE REAPER OF DOOM! It's a scythe, when you wield it, you take less damage and move faster and your player colour is set to black (i have custom colours) oh- it does loads of damage, too. And the ORBITAL DEATH LAZER You set the target by firing, after a certain amount of time, there is a nuke-like explosion in that place (this should be a bonus, I think) And the PLASMA BEAM Which is a constant 'beam' of plasma which burns through everything in it's path- it also pushes enemies away, so it's good for holding the bigger, nastier guys off.

Ive been thinking that all those one-shot-super-destructive weapons could as well be a perk pick, or rare pickups (which sounds nice) OR part of a super weapons shop where you use experience or body count or whatever as currency. Then again, I completely disagree with that last part because, as I say, it involves too much thinking for this kind of game.

Anything that would be a one time thing, would be a perk most definitely. Think of plague bearer, breathing room, bandage, etc. omg awesome idea coming on Static shock - All that running around makes friction, causing you to be electrically charged! every once in awhile you will send an electric shock to anyone near you.

hey, plus, the more monsters you run into, the more charge you get.

Self Defense - While you aren't shooting or reloading, your damage against bites is reduced by 50%

That should have a few prerequisites, like you take 10% then 30%, then 50% later on.
I think the idea of attribute points would be good aswell. Like you have strength (extra damage or something), constitution (damage resistance) and dexterity(run speed/aim). As a perk, you can choose to increase a stat and thus become more skilled in that area. I think this would work well with that big CrimsonWorld idea that Tero had planned.
But that would subtract from the no-strings-attatched gameplay.
Hell, it can be disabled in other game types. I think stats would work.

story mode and survival mode can be a seperate thing. Story mode would be getting perks (stat points too?) throughout an extended period of time with secret stuff to obtain or something... while survival is the classic, get alot of perks, and kick ass. It can be both XD

I am just afraid of CrimsonWorld becoming too much like an MMORPG (if it goes online) It would be cool to wander around CW with your 'clan' and challenge other people to fights or go on a monster hunt (to kill a particular kind that lives in a particular place)

^^^ Nah. It has the same chance of becoming a MMORPG like Unreal Tournament has for example.

accidentally looking back on some old posts. well.. if they made a leg shot and a head shot perk, i think there should be a perk system like.. you can pick one of the three, after you pick one of them, the other two dissapear, further growing your own type of build for fighting in survival. like.. poison bullet - slow death ice bullet - Temporarily freezes them for about 1-2 seconds ion bullet - small shock radius napalm bullet - sets target on fire temporarily, damaging others nearby
head shot (3x damage at a 50% chance) arm shot (reduces damage done by that monster by 50% at a 50% chance) leg shot (reduces speed by 50% at a 50% chance)
and like old perks... seems like this could be a group, but only one could be chosen. hot tempered angry reloader
make sense? also other stuff i thought of Specialized Weapon (needs Favourite weapon) - adds one more clip, but you deal 20% more damage to the gun. Weapon Master - adds one more clip, and deals 30% more damage.
bonus pickups: Bouncy bullets (think shock chain, bounces 5 times max) Homing bullets (bullets that curve into the nearest monster) Toxic bullets (super poison damage that always poisons)

Here is a crude plan of how this system could work, IF I undestood correctly. So if one picks headshot, the other 2 perks of the same group are removed from the list. Taking things even further, you could be given the option to choose one group out of let's say 3, and then one perk out of that group. Hm...

Definitely need the possibility to duel weild and it would definitely be better as a perk.
Sniper Rifles: could have this for levels where enemies come from maybe one direction only, good weapon for co op mode i reckon. With the sniper rifle you should be able to extend the viewing range beyond the edge of the screen. Soldat a sidescrolling shooter has got this, you drag the crosshair out of the edge of the screen and it increases your viewing distance.

I cant see that doing much good unless you are on a really big map- or you are playing with a tiny resolution ^_^
I think there was an appaling lack of beam weapons in CL. There needs to be beams! They're so cool! You could get perks to make the beams fatter- or thinner with more damage.
The vampirism perk would be something like- Stay really close to an enemy (or maybe piggy-back them- which is pretty amusing when they run in circles) and slowly gain health. If you dont do this, though- you lose health.
Perhaps also a perk called 'reverse shot' where if you hold down the reload button and shoot (if you have ammo in your clip) you shoot behind you (not infront aswell)
Double reverse shot could mean you shoot backwards and forwards at an alternating fire pattern?
Point blank shot? You do more damage close up.
Far shot? You do more damage to far away targets.
Of course- you could only get one of these and then perhaps progress to master far shot or something. This could even tie in with the player-building perk table above.
And then there is the material displacement bonus which teleports you to a random place on the screen.
Also, you might have grenade pickups which appear as bonuses. You can store numerous grenades. Grenades can be thrown with the [grenade throw] key and have a timed explosion. There could be a few perks to make grenades better aswell.

damn secondary weapons would be cool! Assault rifle with a grenade launcher attached to it. The Ion cannon can do a super sharge up, or a constant ion shock. Pistol can shoot normally, or have 3 shot bursts Shotgun can shoot one or 2 shells at once flame thrower torches, or throw the canister and use it as a fire grenade.
