if this is going to be a crimsonland 2 and not just another update its gonna need new ideas. thease are some new ideas already.
- mounted mgs
- overloading guns
- boss monsters
- bullet types
- allies
- online multiplayer
- vehicales
- hud types
- destructible terrain

you're weapons displays, everything on the screen that isn't terrain, enemies, flying bullets, otr your guy. you're health bar, the powerup indicators, gun and ammo display, all are HUD (heads up display)
more monster types
more variation between monsters
flashier graphics
a darker setting would be nice, dirtier.

there all good ideas but. there all fairly obvios im looking for completly new ideas like vehicals or like i said bullet types

Maybe if you were on a jeep with a .50 MG, and had to plow through massive hordes, one person could drive, and one could shoot, it would be ok. Otherwise, it would be too much like the rest of the stuff that comes out nowdays.

if there were a jeep, it would ahve to be a gametype all it's own, probably a multiplayer-only type. would it be fun? hell yes. just think... 8 players, 4 jeeps, 1 deathmatch. or 2 players in 1 jeep against hordes and hordes of enemies. i think this is brilliant... but i won't be crushed if it isn't in at the release of CL 2.0..... perhaps as a later update. 2.5? it would take a LOT of work...

Crimsonland needs to stay as far away from vehicles as possible, let's not forget how absoltely shithouse topdown driving games are.
If it was done well, I guess it could be cool but in the end it would take away from the basic gameplay, let's not forget it's still an arcade game not a frigging in depth RPG

well jeeps i think are a good idea. but if we did intrduce vehicales it would have to be so that you can do almost as well on foot. thats something i hate about halo2 and halo

Nah, I can see vehicles being good but it's a long shot, well, leave Tero to that. Anyway zombies that spawn by crawling out of the ground would be cool, some demons that can throw fireballs like doom 3 would be even cooler and some enemie soldiers with smg's would be nice too.
Also, a riot sheild item would be sweet that only blocks attacks from the direction you're facing. Make it a pickup, permanent.

I suggested that a while ago, it would be cool as a perk, you lay a mine every 3 seconds.
Yes, riot shield should be a perk.

mines explosion should hurt also you if you'll be in blast radious or when you trigger them. they should activate about 0.5 secs after placing.
vehicles would be cool, but implementing good physics of them will take some time, so leave them for later.
riot shieled is very good idea, but it dodges only shots, it don't looks nice when sth like this blocks alien bites

so this is what we have so far:

- vehicales: mg mounted jeep + other types.
- hud types
- destructible terrain
- riot shields
- mines
- monster variation
how about avatar mode. you biuld up an energy bar. when it maxes out you gain all bonuses. a nuke goes of when you start this of, your last bullet is an ion chain and every sec you launch a fireblast attack. avatar mode lasts 5-10 secs.

That might have to go into a special mode, or something. With millions of huge monsters, because it sounds too easy against regular monsters.
