THe other forums look dead, guys. I don't know if I contributed to that by making this one, but I've been the only registered member to post there in the last few days.
So, I copied what Tero said about CL2, and am posting it here, so we don't forget the "Cause".

First off, I can't help but be amazed. Come on guys, I have never said anything like that. We DO own the rights for Crimsonland and there WILL be Crimsonland 2.
The reason why there hasn't been any patches is because it got harder and harder to do an update for the game. Crimsonland has multiple distributors and they all want their own branded versions in their hands before we can release a new update. Without proper version control, things just exploded out of my hands. Well, live and learn. I do have the core (Reflexive Arcade) version with a few bugs fixed laying on my hard drive.. I have actually thought of "accidentally" leaking the version, but legally it would be just plain stupid.
Anyway if you think about it, how many games you know have already gotten as many updates as Crimsonland? Anyway one of my mistakes was to add new features with each update instead of fixing and balancing the existing features. Live and learn part two.
I am glad you want me dead for all this. This is the moment that makes all the hard work worth-while. I'm not sure if that spamming threat was a joke or not, but lately I have been receiving tons of spam and hundreds of messages about my email address being abused.
I am proud to say that I have answered all questions about the game I've received through email. I haven't received the letter written in one of those threads. I don't see it in my spam folder either. I wouldn't be surprised if some non-local spam filter already has my email address blacklisted. This all makes you wonder..
Anyway the current version of Crimsonland 2 contains pretty much the same game play as the original game but extended with proper multiplayer game over udp/ip. The game core is a lot more expandable, the code for weapons and perks aren't just of hacks and glue. We're still figuring out what to do with it exactly
Developing a game takes time. Heh, sometimes I wish I could program the game 24 hours a day, but unfortunately I've got this another thing that takes up my time. It's called life. Developing game doesn't pay your bills. Developing and releasing just might, but you'd have to get to that release part first.
Hopefully we do.
